My dad was a very fit man before he took ill in 2005, he had a bad chest for years but it only got worse 2 years before he died.He was a very loving father,papa and great grand-dad.He looked after his family from the day we were born till the day he died, nothing was a problem for him he was always there when we needed him whether it was to run us home or get the kids to hospital when they got hurt.His great grandchildren adored him.He suffered quite a lot with his chest in the latter months of his life,but he never complained and he would always tell us to stop worrying that he would be fine.He is with our mum now and he is at peace.

I am finished my chemo and l feel good just waiting to start my radio therapy,we are all fine down here.kori started school yesterday it was like watching her mum going to school,l know you and mum would be watching over her.she misses you so much when she see's a picture of you she gives it a big kiss and say l love you papa.dylan went it to his second year at high school and jamie and leon started high school hannah is in primary 4. we all miss you down here .love you so much and miss you even more.loads of love and hugs from everyone here xxxxxxxxxxxxx

just to let you know l am now halfway through my chemo and l am coping fairly well l am getting a bit more tired than usual but not giving in to it.Everyone else is well apart from charlie his right hand may have to be operated on and then his left hand as he has carpal tunnel in it.It will be 4years on the 23rd next month since you left us dad and we all miss you so very much,it will 19 years on the 25th next month since mum left us and we miss her very much to.Tell everyone that is with you that we miss them all and love them very much.will speak soon love and miss you both so much your loving daughter and son-in-law,jennifer and charlie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Sweetheart
just to let you and mum know they got all the cancerous lump away but one of the lymphnodes was speckled with cancer cells so l have to have 3-4 mths of chemo then radio therapy and then hormone therapy. I am not looking forward to the chemo but l will just have to like as l need all three therapies and then at the end the doc says l should get the all clear as they found it quite quickly.Hope you and mum are warm and cosy up there, the weather down here is starting to get a bit better we have had some sunshine.Charlie is having a bad time of it again between his side and his hands,hopefully they will get it all sorted out and he will feel ok again.love and miss you and mum so much especially at this time but l know you are both looking out for us. love you both so much and miss you every minute of every hour of every day.your loving daughter and son-in-law jennifer and charlie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

just a short note to let you and mum know that l have been diagnosed with a small cancerous lump in my left boob,l am going in to hospital to have it removed and the 4 to 5 weeks of radiotherapy and then tablets for 5 years.love and miss you so much especially at this moment when l need someone to talk to l know l have charlie but he is quite upset at the moment. will let you know how things are going love and miss you so much
